EODD Diet Review?

If You Are Interested In Buying EODD Then This Is The Most Important Page You’ll Ever See….Keep Reading

“Wow,” I said To My Wife, “Do You Think This EODD Is For Real?”

Jon Benson creator of the EODD weight loss protocol wrote recently…

EODD PizzaToday I went for some New York-style pizza here in Austin, Texas. Do I feel ‘guilty’? No way… in fact tomorrow I will feel LEANER. What the what? I had to set up my body for this bit of metabolic trickery of course. You cannot just “eat pizza” and shed the pounds… I wish you could! But my personal System(EODD) for fatloss not only “allows” pizza (and all my other favorite foods)… it DEMANDS that I eat it.

What is EODD?

“Wow,” I glanced up from my computer where I’d been reading about the EODD, “do you think this EODD is for real?”

I had been grabbed by the EODD because of its blazing headlines which said you could eat your favorite foods and still lose weight and I wanted to lose weight. I ended up buying the EODD and here is what I have discovered about it and I promise to tell it like it is for me.

EODD is based on the calorie shifting method of weight loss. Calorie Shifting, in a nut shell, uses a weekly reduced calorie count rather than a daily one. As an example, suppose I wanted to lose weight so I decide to go on a 1200 calorie a day diet. If I chose to do calorie shifting instead of looking at 1200 calories a day, I would calculate my weekly calorie allotment which would be 1200 X 7 or 8400 calories.

That means that with calorie shifting diets like EODD, I have room to shift those 8400 calories around from day to day with in the week. On some days I could eat more and on some days I then would have to be pretty sparse. In the end I MUST stay with in my weekly calorie range.

There are several advantages to dieting like this. With a calorie shifting diet, in my case EODD, I…

  • experienced far fewer diet plateaus because my body could never adjust to a daily reduced calorie routine and go into starvation mode.
  • “saved up” calories so that I can enjoy certain days with much more food and not feel trapped like I do with a traditional diet of course I had to pay for it with a very reduced calorie day the next day in order to stay within my weekly count.
  • Found that the shifting of calories with some high calorie days and some extremely low calorie days appeared to boost my body’s metabolism and caused it to burn fat at a higher rate.

It should be noted that EODD or The Every Other Day Diet is an adaptation of the calorie shifting protocol and its unique twist is to use calorie shifting to free up enough calories so that you can enjoy a “diet free” meal every other day. That is where the name comes from. You actually eat every day on EODD so The Every Other Day Diet is not to be confused with other diets with similar sounding names that actually have you fasting every other day. You DO NOT fast on the EODD.

Who Is Jon Benson The Author Of EODD And CEO Of JB Fitness.

This was the question I asked when I first heard of EODD because I didn’t want to be buying some junk form a scam artists so I did my research carefully. It turns out that he has quite an impressive resume. He likes to refer to himself as a “former fatty” and he is doesn’t spend much time touting himself. He is uses humor a lot when he teaches but underneath all of that is a guy who knows his stuff.

Besides the EODD diet Jon has written 4 other best selling health titles, Fit Over 40, The 7 Minute Diet, The 7 Minute Muscle and Low Pressure Sex. Jon Benson is a graduate from MIT in Los Angeles, California and Abilene Christian University, degreed in Human Communications and Philosophical Studies. He is schooled in the art of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and has studied nutrition at Dallas’ famous Cooper Clinic.

He is currently working on completing his M.Sc. in Nutritional Science.

In the End I found the EODD to be quite simply one of the most comprehensive, complete and precise guides to calorie shifting weight loss that I had ever read.

What makes EODD so much different from all the other weight loss Guides on the market?

From my experience with the EODD or Every Other Day Diet I’d have to say it is 2 things.

  1. SNAPP
  2. Feed Meals

SNAPP is the heart of EODD it is the eating plan and the thing that blew me away was how easy it was to learn. I literally sat down with my wife and had the whole thing mastered in 15minutes and believe me, you can check with my wife if you want to, I am no genius.

The Good and The Bad About EODD

Pros:

Here is what I really liked about the EODD

  • I rarely stalled in my weight loss and on the rare occasion I did it was due to not following the EODD rules.
  • I got to eat out with my wife at least every other day and still lose weight. Don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t always a walk in the park, but if you are going to suffer through a diet, then this diet sucks the least.
  • I averaged a little over 2 pounds of fat loss a week.
  • The SNAPP system was so super easy to learn and super easy to follow. Remember that just because it was easy to follow didn’t mean that it was always easy for me to do that following. In other words it is easy to understand each day what you are suppose to do but some days I still wanted to do to feed meals in a row—sigh!
  • I never felt trapped in a food desert and I never got that desperate feeling that I would never be able to enjoy certain foods again.
  • I love the support forum that comes with the EODD where I get all of my questions answered and support for anything I need and I can blog my progress.

Cons:

  • Like I said, it wasn’t exactly a walk in the park. I had to make some lifestyle changes and I had to eat less overall of course this is a con for any weight loss diet except maybe the Tape Worm diet, but we won’t go there—shudder!
  • Coming off the feed meal days and doing a fat loss day could sometimes be hard, but never as hard as the diets I had tried before.
  • The EODD was almost to simple. The first time I tried it, I kept cheating because I used the excuse I could just start up the next day. I ended up drifting away from it. It wasn’t until a year later that I was so disgusted with myself that I got it out again and read the EODD through twice and then put it into practice that the fat came off. Now I use it for maintenance.

The Bottom Line

To be honest, the EODD diet isn’t for everyone. Just as each person has a unique personality, each person must find a weight loss method that fits that personality. Successful weight loss is more of a negotiation and compromise with your appetite than it is a conquest of your apatite. Anyone looking for a quick fix solution to weight loss, anybody wanting to believe weight loss fairy tales, a person searching for the “magic bullet”, pills, over the counters, hyped up programs should not waste his or her time with the EODD.

BUT, anyone searching for the truth about weight loss and who is ready and willing to put in some work and make the lifestyle changes necessary to solve their weight problems, will find the EODD to be one of the best investments they ever made in their lives.
