My Every Other Day Diet Experience

My Every Other Day Diet Thanksgiving Recovery!

START DATE: Sunday, November 27, 2011

Hi,

I am DISGUSTED with myself and I am going to do my penance here for all to see.

You see, I just got through losing nearly 50 lbs using hCG I have gained 10 pounds back again over the last week or so including Thanksgiving.

CRAP! (Excuse the expression)

So, I am going to go on a diet and report to in an email each day my progress (Why promote something you don’t use yourself!)

I have chosen “The Every Other Day Diet” by Jon Benson because it is the easiest diet on earth to learn. (OK, so that is my opinion anyway.) Whether or not it is effective, we will all be finding out in the next week or so.

This morning I stepped on the scales—crud muffins, I say again—and weighed 198 pounds. Up from a low of 187.5. (My scales only goes by 1/2 pounds.)

Well, I will update you each day on the amount of weight I lost, if any, and how I felt that day.

I will be using the SNAPP system. Below are my starting stats:

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 198 lbs
Net Weight Change: 0
How I Felt: Pretty psyched to get started, but we will see how it is tomorrow.

Other Issues: Restless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux, And Snoring (I know TMI)

OK, that’s it.

I will see you tomorrow,

Chris

P.S. By The Way, share this with as many other people you know that would like to lose weight. I will be the guinea pig.

P.P.S. If this diet doesn’t work I will try another until I find one that does and you get to watch.

Hey,

Woke up this AM got on the scales…1.5 lbs down. Not bad, but the jury is still far from coming in yet.

Used the SNAPP eating system yesterday and was not hungry Today I get a feed meal and I am choosing grilled chicken ceaser salad with double meat and double dressing.

We will see if Jon Benson’s Calorie shifting plan works or not tomorrow morning.

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 196.5 lbs
Net Weight Change: (1.5 lbs)
How I Felt: Good except for RLS and allergies.
Other Issues: Restless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux, And Snoring (I know TMI)

OK, that’s it for today.

I will see you tomorrow and let you know how the “eat what you want and still lose weight” part of this diet works.

Hey,

Just jumped on the scales this AM. WOW! another 1/2 pound lost.

NOW before you go saying Whoopee Do Da Ding, remember I had my feed meal yesterday. I told you I was going to have a grilled chicken ceasar salad…well when I got to TGIF with my wife I ended up having the BBQ burger instead.

The fries were limp but I ate mine anyway. My wife complained and the waiter brought us fresh ones so I ended up having a double order of fries…YES, I ate them too…sigh!

Anyway, I lost 1/2 pound when I was sure I was going to gain a ton.

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 196 lbs
Net Weight Change: (1/2 lb)
How I Felt: Good. No RLS and my allergies have subsided.
Other Issues: Restless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux, And Snoring (I know TMI)

I have re-read Jon’s book and this is how it is supposed to work. The principle is that you lower your weekly calorie intake, rather than daily. That way you can shift calories around to allow you to have a feed meal every other day.

NOTE: I DO NOT CHEAT. In other words, this diet will either work or not work on its won merits. I won’t sabotage the process by straying from it at all.

Chris

P.S. I really was surprised by the results!

P.P.S. If this diet doesn’t work I will try another until I find one that does and you get to watch.

Yesterday I lost another 1/2 pound and I am finding this diet
doable. I HATE DIETING but my stupid pre – during – post
Thanksgiving day eating did me in.

This morning I was absolutely sure that I was going to plateau. I
had sausages, mayo on Magic Pops (These are great and I’ll explain
what they are later) and then pigged out on cookies and cream
ice-cream.

I LOST another 1/2 pound. The book says that this is suppose to
happen as does Jon’s video, but it somehow doesn’t seem it should.
It is no wonder that this book has sold 300,000 copies.

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 195 lbs
Net Weight Change: (1 lb) This is over 2 days
How I Felt: Good.
Other Issues: Retless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux, And Snoring (I
know TMI)

So far the hardest part has been in the mid afternoon, but I found
that if I spaced out my SNAPP eating and had a diet soda on hand I
could easily get past that point. Especially if I think about
dinner coming up and I always remember that the next day I can have
a feed meal.

Chris

P.S. I am really excited about the forum support and lifetime updates to this product!

P.P.S. If this diet doesn’t work I will try another unril I find one that does and you get to watch.

I have plateaued at 195.  This is suppose to be expected, but it is suppose to last less than 3 days on The Every Other Day Diet due to the calorie shifting.
We will see.  Today I had a nice feed meal of lasagna and cookies and cream ice-cream.  So we will see if my plateau is still there in the morning.
Will report to you tomorrow to let you know what the total was for my first week on The Every Other Day Diet.
Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 195 lbs
Net Weight Change: 0 lbs This is over 2 days
How I Felt: Good.
Other Issues: Retless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux Snoring much less according to my wife. (I know TMI)
Part of this diets success for me so far is psychological because I don’t feel trapped away from food I love.  When I get cravings I just tell myself that a feed meal is only a day away.
So far so good…except for this plateau.

This last week I went from 198 lbs to 195 lbs for a total loss of 3 pounds.  I am ading exercise this week.  In fact I did my first power walk this AM.

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 195 lbs
Net Weight Change: 0 lbs
How I Felt: Good.
Other Issues: Retless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux Snoring much less according to my wife. (I know TMI)
My goal is to lose at least 2 more pounds this week and have a couple of Hamburgers to boot.
In fact I am waiting for my wife right now to go to Fuddrucker’s for a turkey burger and onion rings.
Chris
P.S. Some people have been asking me about Jon’s video.  You can see it here if you want or just stay tuned to my experiment.
I dropped from 195 lbs to 193 this week. The funny thing is, I had
an entire 11 oz. bag of chocolate covered raisins. Yea, you heard
right. For one of my feed meals I just ate a whole bag of
chocolate covered raisins.

OK, so I am not exactly proud of that, but it proved to me that
these feed meals really do work. I had just been craving chocolate
all week long and on Thursday around noon, I was in a convenience
store and there they were. I though, what the heck, and I went for
them.

I still lost 2 pounds this week!

Age: 51
Sex: Male
Weight: 193 lbs
Net Weight Change: (2 lbs)
How I Felt: Good especially after the raisins.
Other Issues: Retless Leg Syndrome, Acid Reflux (haven't had it now
in about 10 days. Not sure if it is the diet or not.) Snoring much
less according to my wife. (I know TMI)

My goal is to lose at least 2 more pounds this next week and have
who knows, maybe I'll hold a chocolate bar convention for one of my
feed meals.
